12 Month Update!

Stats: 22 pounds and 30.5 inches tall

Eating: James is completely on whole milk now! It is such a relief to be off formula, but now I am worried about weaning off of bottles and so much milk! Oh well, one thing at a time I guess! New favorite foods this month include: chicken, bell peppers, tomatoes, black beans, & peas. James also had chocolate cake for the first time at his birthday party and loved it! He even clapped his hands for "yay!" which means he loved it!

Sleep: Most of the time James goes to bed between 7:15-7:30 and wakes up between 7:15-7:30 am. There are some nights he wakes up in the middle of the night because he is thirsty or teething, but for the most part he is a great sleeper! He takes 2 naps a day still, and I am also nervous to transition to one nap a day. He is a happy little guy and goes to sleep easily! (I guess this is what I earned after waking up every 3 hours for 10 months!)

Milestones: James isn't walking quite yet, but I am happy about that! He keeps me busy enough as it is just crawling around the house! He can walk with assistance or by pushing his walker, so I know we aren't too far off. He has almost mastered standing alone and often does the "mogly crawl" on his legs. At 12 months James can: wave goodbye and hello, growl like a tiger, make monkey, snake, and cow sounds, shake his head no, clap, play patty cake and peak a boo, open cupboards and drawers, turn book pages, point at items, feed himself, drink from a straw, and "sing" to music.

Fun Facts:
-James has very ticklish feet
-LOVES facetiming with people

-Nanna coming from England for a visit
-Going to Utah for December!
