Ruth and Colin had the most beautiful wedding! They were married on September 9, 2012 at Leez Priory in England. You take a bunch of little country roads for a long time and then you come to this beautiful priory. It was so green and gorgeous! The wedding was around 12, followed by pictures, afternoon tea, croquet, a three course luncheon (at which Rob, Seb and Adam gave an amazing speech), a reception with a buffet, cake cutting, and dancing! It was such a beautiful day and Rob and I felt so privileged to be able to spend it with Ruth and Colin. We spent the night at the priory in an adorable little cottage and had a huge English breakfast the next morning before saying our goodbyes! Congratulations Ruth and Colin!

This past week Rob and I had the opportunity to go back to England for Ruth's wedding! (I know, we were JUST there!) We made a quick trip of it, spending only 5 full days in England. We made the most of it though and were sure to get some things done while we were there- such as shopping, buying stockpiles of chocolate, seeing the sites, and of course partying like crazy at the wedding! Last time we were in England we really wanted to go to Cambridge, but the weather was not very inviting for spending the entire day outside. Luckily, on this trip, we had gorgeous weather the whole time! So Adam, Emma, Rob and I all piled into the car to make the 2 hour drive to Cambridge, making a quick stop for lunch at Bury St. Edmunds. Rob and I had visited Bury previously, but it was wintertime. It was so different to see it in full bloom and sunshine! It was so beautiful! We of course had a full lunch of fish and chips, and made a picnic in a 12th century monastery. In Cambridge we walked around looking at all of the different colleges and then went punting down the river. Rob was our trusty punter for a full hour- check out those guns!!
